Affiliate Pro will not install

After uploading to folder affiliate_program
Set write permissions on folders to 777
1. banners/img
2. banners/swf
3. backups
4. documents
5. config
6. log
7. resource
then placing in the below example in browser address bar:
mydomain.com/affiliate_program

hit enter and it returns:
mydomain.com/affiliate_program/install/install.php
Enter your MySQL information:
Error creating database with given name.

I created the database manually but it returned to the same address with the same error.

Any help?

all fixed, dummy me misspelled the database name
