Software Protection and Activation |
I. Why we protect it?
Our company has developed special technology for the activation of our programs. This protects us from the unauthorized use and distribution of our products, which in turn protects our customers, as piracy only serves to increase prices for legitimate consumers. Each copy of our programs are locked for evaluation purposes. To unlock them, you should buy the license (or license package) and follow the activation steps below. Each license is only associated with the particular computer on which the program was installed and activated, so if the unlocked software is copied from your system, it will automatically lock again.
II. ActivationAfter you first time bought licence(s) you will get an e-mail message with login info to the SoftService Activation Server, where you could log in and get activation code(s). If you are returning customer you can use the same login information for activation server.
You are allowed to generate few activation codes if you bought few licences for our product, for example, if you bought 3 licences you can generate 3 activation codes for different computers.
After you buy your license(s), you will get an email message with your login info for the SoftService Activation Server. This is where you get your activation code(s). If you are a returning customer, you can use the same login information for the activation server.
You will be allowed to generate the number of activation codes for which you have bought licenses. For example, if you buy 3 licenses, you can generate activation codes for 3 different computers.
Follow these steps to activate products:
1) Execute locked program and click the Activation link in preferences and get your Computer ID. Leave this window opened.
2) Write down your Computer ID or copy it to buffer.
3) Login to the SoftService Activation Server (you will find the URL and login info in your mailbox after purchase).
4) Enter the Computer ID to get your Activation Code.
5) Go back to the software activation window (the one you opened in Step 1) and enter your Customer ID (also in your mailbox after purchase) and the Activation Code.
6) Click "Ok" and it will inform you of your activation status.
